A new single-family village house on an elongated triangular site near the center of town. A prime consideration in the design of this house was to keep the scale consistent with that of the existing neighborhood of historic homes. The one and a half story height, front porch and detached garage are all responses to the existing fabric. Through careful planning with the setbacks and massing, this three bedroom house makes the most of a small site while providing comfortably sized rooms inside. A rear stone terrace overlooks conservation land.
